MASTS Scottish Marine Science Showcase

Dynamic Earth is providing MASTS members with an opportunity to highlight the diversity of research and careers within marine science. This is a fantastic opportunity to share the exciting and valuable research that you do at your different institutions, and to inspire the next generation to follow in your footprints and pursue a career in this sector.

If you are keen but unsure on what you can do as an activity or are unsure how to communicate your science to non-academic audiences, then fear not! MASTS directorate members Hannah Ladd-Jones and Elizabeth Mills are here to help you build discipline related activities and provide guidance on science communication language and accessibility. In addition, if you are based at a university don’t forget you will have a public engagement/outreach team who can also offer support and guidance.

Lunch will be provided. Fuel costs will be covered by Dynamic Earth so if you are from further afield please do consider this opportunity!
