PhD aim:
Will feral pigs aid or threaten landscape-scale nature recovery, understanding their genetics, ecology and public perceptions.

PhD objectives:

  • Explore the ecological role of Sus scrofa in landscape scale nature recovery.
  • Explore the hybrid nature of feral pigs in Scotland and if this impacts their ecology and/or affects public perception.
  • Explore the key themes and influences over stakeholder opinion on Sus scrofa.
