Introduction to R

We are pleased to offer a free online workshop focusing on the programming software R led by Dr Alex Douglas, University of Aberdeen.
This course provides an opportunity and support to start learning R at your own pace. No previous experience of R is necessary, but you should have a good understanding of basic statistical methods and concepts.
By the end of this course, you will have sufficient confidence and familiarity with the R programming language to:
- Manipulate and explore different types of data
- Import and summarise your own data
- Produce exploratory and publication quality graphics
- Perform your own statistical analyses
- Write your own functions (additional option)
