DESCRIPTION:This session offers participants in the first year of their studies a chance to develop the skills required to manage this phase of their doctorate and to action plan accordingly. \n\n\n\nThe learning outcomes of the course are to enable you to:\n•Acknowledge the progress you have made to date and recognise the skills you have developed\n•Identify people who can contribute to the success of your doctorate\n•Develop techniques to effectively communicate with your supervisor and develop this relationship now and in the future\n•Explore the importance of communicating your research and its impact\n•Practice communication techniques to a range of audiences\n•Develop your individual plan for the coming year \nPGRs in their first year will receive a calendar invite with a joining link.
