DESCRIPTION:This course offers participants in the second year of their studies to maintain the momentum of their doctorate as they enter and during their second year\, and to refocus on the wider process of successfully completing their doctorate on time.  \n\n\nThe learning outcomes of the session are to enable participants to: \n\n\nclarify where they are within the doctoral process\, the progress they have made so far and how this relates to the overall project;\nidentify some critical success factors for the second year of a PhD;\nexplore what their thesis will look like (structure)\, including consideration of the assessment criteria;\nlook at tools and techniques to strategically manage the rest of their PhD; and\ndevelop their individual plan for the coming year\, together with specific support needs and resources available.\n\nPGRs in their second year will have received a calendar invite with a joining link.
