First Aid for Mental Health with Mental Health Scotland

This online course will give you the knowledge to recognise potential early signs of poor mental health, learn about mental health conditions, and give you the skills to start a conversation with someone who may be struggling.

This is a great opportunity to help foster a compassionate workplace culture and support your peers, as well as increase your employability and contribute to your PG Cert!

Over 4 weeks, you will need to set aside just 6 hours for self study and attend two 1.5-hour live sessions on Tuesday 20 and Tuesday 27 September to solidify your learning. There will then be an individual assessment on Wednesday 28 or Thursday 29 September, or Monday 3 or Tuesday 4 October.

Upon completion the qualification is valid for three years and you will be provided with additional resources which are accessible indefinitely to support you.
